I was just checking the Ancestor genealogical entries and ran across your submission for the Rittenhouse ancestors. I descend from Wilhelm (b. 1644) through his daughter Elizabeth who married Heivert Papen. A few years ago, a distant relative was doing research in the Philadelphia area and delighted us by finding a report that Wilhelm was a distant descendant of Ferdinand and Isabella as well as Maximilian. Of course, we were delighted. Even if the Hapsburgs are nuts, it is fun to have them in the pedigree. This report had a line of descent which wasn't as detailed as yours and which seems to have left out a couple of generations. However, the same relative later found a refutation of the initial research and which claimed there was no such pedigree for Wilhelm Rittenhouse. I'm afraid I cannot cite references here. However, I wonder where you found your information and if you feel that it is sufficiently documented.
I would certainly appreciate hearing from you. From information I gleaned from a book, that line doubles up on Ferdinand and Isabella as well as Maximillian. The book also stated that Ferdinand and Isabella were cousins, perhaps accounting for Juana's unstable mental condition.
