Notes for Edward FULLER
Edward and Ann (Hall) Fuller were two of the original passengers on the Mayflower which landed in Plymouth, MA on 18 December 1620. With them was their twelve year old son, Samuel. Edward and Ann died the first winter after their arrival.

*Edward Fuller m. ? in ?, in England. Edward was born before Sept. 4, 1575 in Redenhall, Suffolk, England and D. between January and April of 1620/1 during the first winter, after arriving from the Mayflower, in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. His parent were Robert Fuller and Sarah Dunkhorn. Robert was a butcher or a tanner. Mrs. Fuller (his wife) was b. in ?, England., and Died also between Jan. and April of 1620/1 during the first winter, after arriving from the Mayflower, in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. Edward and his unknown wife were among the English Separatist living in Leiden, Holland. He then joined the pilgrims at Southhampton, England and then embarked first in the Speedwell and when the ship proved unseathworthy, transferred to the Mayflower and with his wife and young son, Samuel, continued the voyage to the New World. He was the twenty-first signer of the Compact, and though he and his wife both died soon after their arrival and are buried un unmarked graves on Coles Hill at Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. Edward had at least 2 children, *Capt. Matthew (b.1603?-1678) and *Samuel (b. 1608?)* (*Note-There are several possible women that could have been Edward‚s Wife. The following were found in the parish register abstracts of the I.G.I..of Edward Fuller‚s marrying during the time he would have most likely married. Amy Lee, (m. Oct. 28, 1599 in Woodham, Walter, Essex, England), Elizabeth Buck (m.July 25, 1602 in Great Finborough, Suffolk, England), Barbara Colman (m. Jun 10, 1606, Chigwell, Essex, England), and Agnes Croucher (m. Jan. 14, 1607 in West Horsley, Surrey, England).(*Note-Edward Fuller, was one of the Puritans who left England because of religious persecution. In the time of Queen Elizabeth I, 1558 to 1603, the policy was to enforce absolute uniformity in religious belief. The Puritans were targeted because of their persistent attempts to purify the church and they had stopped with the ceremonies required by the dominant religion. King James I, who succeeded Queen Elizabeth I, also was intolerant of other religions.
